The Children's Place Winter: Warm, Cozy and Stylish | @ChildrensPlace #BigFashionLittlePrices

With fall brings cooler weather and the need for warmer clothes.  Even in California where the weather only drops to 50's on average, the need for layers is necessary.

Last week, I had the chance to see what our favorite children's fashion store had to offer.  The Children's Place has always been our go to place for the latest fashions at great prices and when I got the email to come take a look, I jumped at the chance.

Walking into the Tarzana store, the first thing that caught my eye was the chosen theme of the year.  Can you guess what it is?  You got it!  Frozen!  While there weren't an over abundance of actual licensed clothing, the over all look made you want to curl up next to a campfire in cozy clothes.

Tired of hearing and seeing all things Frozen?  Don't worry, there are plenty of other adorable dresses.

Raney Ranch Retrievers: San Diego's Best Dog Trainers | @RaneyRanchRet #ad #RaneyRanch #Hunting

Looking for a great reliable Hunting Dog?  A good hunting dog can mean the difference between thousands of dollars wasted in hunting trips and disappointments galore.

There is nothing like shooting down your birds and being unable to retrieve it due to a dog unable to locate it or because it lacks the ability to read your signals at a long distance.  We, hunters, rely on our dogs to be one of our greatest tools in our amazing sport.

A reliable gun and proper hunting training is a must for us but what about our other tool, our dogs?  Without proper training, a hurt bird may suffer or never be found.

Home and Family TV: Your Go-To DIY Show | @Home&FamilyTV #Home&FamilyTV

Christine Ferrare, Tanya Memme, Mark Steines, Kym Douglas, Sophie Uliano

I love looking up potential projects for my family to do on Pinterest. The DIY projects that range from baby clothes, cleaning products, recipes, photograph tips and so much more are so enticing but alas, very much out of my non-creative abilities.

In fact, have you seen the Facebook memes that show what a project will look like if you follow their directions and the reality of the actual fail of the result? The result is what mine usually look like!

I discovered an easy alternative in the Home & Family TV show on the Hallmark Channel. This program is more than a show. You watch the hosts, Mark Steines and Christina Ferrare, draw you into their family of friends and guests. You actually feel like they are real people who actually believe in what they talk about instead of actors reading from a script.

In fact, their set is not even a set! Their location is an actual working house and yard that just helps bring their audience into their "family". The house does not have ceilings because of the lighting required for filming but everything in the house is full working house. Walking up to the house, you would never guess you were walking on the back lot of Universal Studios.
