RMS_TITANIC_Inc and @BodiesExhibit Together! #GIVEAWAY #ad

My family has been in the ship building business since they arrived in America in the late 1800's.  My veins run with salt water! :-)
I have always been intrigued by the Titanic and other nautical history.

Every time I hear that there is an exhibit that features artifacts for the Titanic, I try to attend it before it moves on.  I was invited to visit "Titanic The Experience", it has made its home in the old Wax Museum down the street from Knott's Berry Farm!  I can't wait!

Opening August 1, 2013, Titanic The Experience is the newest blockbuster Buena Park attraction located on Beach Boulevard. The exhibit allows you to become a passenger and travel back in time to 101 years ago.

The authentic artifacts and interactive storytellers in period costume allow you to visit the unforgettable sights, sounds, and emotions of most famous ship ever to set sail, Titanic.

This incredible tour back in time includes full scale room re-creations where you can visit some of the most famous rooms on board Titanic.  In addition, visitors will view over 250 artifacts recovered from the wreck site of Titanic. These one of a kind objects, once thought to be lost forever, provide a haunting emotional connection to the story of Titanic like nothing else can.

Titanic The Experience is committed to engaging the global community in Titanic’s story from its beginnings in 1909, her maiden voyage in 1912, the tragedy of her sinking, the aftermath of the countless lives that were inexorably altered and to the unfolding discoveries of  the 21st century.  Join us on this intriguing journey as we continue to investigate, consider, celebrate and remember this timeless and iconic moment in history.

You can find Hours of Operation and Ticket Prices here.

The Titanic exhibit shares its home with another fantastic teaching exhibit!  BODIES, is a combination of art, biology and the human body.

In BODIES…The Exhibition, you will see real human specimens dissected and preserved to display the intricacies of each body system.  You will also see the effects on the body of disease and unhealthy life choices – what happens to the lungs, for example, when people smoke. This Exhibition shows visitors how positively amazing the body is – how the pulleys, fulcrums, and levers that we know as muscles, joints, and bones let us function continuously without even thinking about it.

BODIES…The Exhibition provides an unprecedented opportunity for learning human anatomy, health, and biology. You will learn to speak with ease about the body, dispelling some preconceived ideas and fears and creating a forum for frank, open discussion.
